Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) occur naturally in different foods and include: most popular: glycolic acid (from sugar), lactic acid (from milk), citric acid (from citrus fruits), malic acid (from apples), tartaric acid (from grapes).
Beta-hydroxy acids (BHA)- Salicylic Acid also is currently used for its anti-aging properties and known for its very good penetration and solving skin residue action inside of pores. Naturally occurs in Black Willow Bark is one of the ingredients in this treatment.

These 100% natural mild acids serve to remove the outer layer of dull skin and leave skin with a younger and rejuvenated appearance. These gentle acids work by skin’s natural exfoliation: loosening and sloughing away the outer layer of dead skin cells, revealing the newer, smoother cells underneath. You may use it in your spa, during the facial treatments or give your client lasting 1-month therapy. Great for any sun- related, blemishes discoloration, flaky or congested skin also wrinkles and lines. It will remove during this time most of the discoloration that your client has received from summer sun. Skin on the face and decollate after this procedure is flawless, lighter and just beautiful. Lines and wrinkles are less visible allowing everybody to view a much younger, lighter looking skin. I apply this therapy to my face, neck and decollete every year during the winter months.

It may create additional discoloration for the skin since any AHAs/BHA is a photosensitive solution on a skin. Sometimes you may not see the effects until a few months have passed. That's why you SHOULD NEVER DO ANY AHAS/BHA INTENSIVE TREATMENT DURING SUMMER TIME!!! You can replace this treatment in the SUMMER with: 5% AHAs/BHA Correcting Discoloration and Wrinkles Pads or 10% AHAs/ BHA Correcting Discoloration & Wrinkles Treatment : see instructions. After using AHAs/BHA during the DAY- ALWAYS apply SPF at least 15+. You may not need to do that if you perform the facial in the evening. If you are selling 5% or 10% AHAs/BHA treatments to your customers to use at home, educate them: It has been proven to work better for any of the AHAs and BHA products after using them for 6-7 months to take about 6-8 weeks long break. The rule may not apply for VERY OILY skin types. I like to always take a break always during summer time. During that time you can replace this product with mechanical exfoliation (facial brush). Make sure your client knows not to use 30% AHAs/BHA solution for more than 4 weeks therapy during the year.
